A Post From the Past!

So, I wrote this particular post in geometry.  It was review day, and I never get anything out of review days, so I wrote!  Here it is:

I'm sitting in geometry as I write this, and missing my global perspectives teacher.  He said the hallway was kind of like an abyss, and once you're out there he won't remember you.  Oh, good times!  I wonder if my teacher will mind if I sit cross legged?

I've been writing Chapter 7 of Time Changes since bio second hour.  I think it's pretty good so far.

Miss Amie has finally seen the silent creative boy.  I'm thinking the guy is maybe a writer...maybe.  He's blonde, by the way.  Just a clue for someone who's trying to figure out a clue for someone who's trying to figure out who he is.  Also, he's a natural blonde, not dyed.

I'm kind of hungry.  I really want a grilled cheese to soothe my hurty throat.  Also, I just love grilled cheese.  Oooh, I wonder if there's tomato soup?  If there is I'm totally going to have grilled cheese and tomato soup after school.

I don't have to take any books home today!  Yesssss!...Ahem.

There you have it folks!  I have nothing to add, really.

It May Be Raining, But There's a Rainbow Above You

*Sighs*  I haven't seen a rainbow in so long.  I can't even remember the last time I saw one.  I listened to Ukulele Mike sing the Rainbow Connection last night.  And then the Bare Necessities, and some other song from The Jungle Book.  I love The Jungle Book...

The mancub sees rainbows!  Ha, get it?

I finally successfully completed writing Chapter 6 of 'Time Changes'.  Granted, it's only 3,000 words, but my views had dipped lower than 29 yesterday.  That is some scary stuff!  It also felt right to end it where I did.
As my English book would put it 'the events of the chapter had come to their logical end'.  I'm just wondering when the events of the actual story will come to their logical end, and I'm scared it might be before Katara has her third child...I really want Zuko to have a daughter and shower his little Fire Princess with love!  <3

I've eaten way too much chocolate these past couple of days.  It all started with the reward chocolate I got from my blog post the other day.  (Was it yesterday?  I can't remember.)  Since then I've eaten at least 4 more Hershey chocolate bars.  It seems they're decreasing in their sugary goodness every time I eat another one, which is very disappointing.  I'll have to quit for a while so when I do eat it again it will be amazing again :)

Oh man, I wish I was British just so I could name my daughter Trinny.  Trinny, isn't it the greatest name you've ever heard?  It just sounds so good, and it's easy to say...all in all it's just pretty dang awesome.

Look guys!  It's the Inspirational Apple that has nothing to do with this saying!

But I like the saying, I might use it in Time Changes.  But seriously, what's with the apple??

The Sky is Blue, There is No Wind in My Hair

First up, look at this creepy chick with her creepy expression:

"Come closer, I'm going to cut little strips of your skin off while you watch in horror while I eat them."

I'm going to keep it a secret as to why I found this picture because it would ruin a surprise for one of my readers.  You'll just have to wait and find out later!

I'm sitting here not doing my homework.  I'm not getting up to use the bathroom.  I'm not getting up to feed my starving fish.  I'm not getting up to refill my drink.  I am so lazy.

Today in bio something came upon me!  You know what it was?  INSPIRATION!  I know!  It was fabulous!  We were taking notes, so I jotted them down and then I started to plan out my entire story!  It will go on for YEARS!  She'll have CHILDREN!  From two different MAN BOYS!  :D  I'm really excited about my story revealing itself to me.  I'm excited because I might actually finish this one!  :D

And I leave this extremely short post with a super cute picture.

Awww <3  I love Zuko :)

I Have No Inspiration To Write, What Happened?

I don't feel like blogging, I don't feel like writing, and I forgot my English binder.  *Sigh*

Although, I have a chocolate bar, so I kinda feel a lot better with the knowledge that in reward for writing this post, I will eat it.  And you know what else?  I'll enjoy it, immensely.

Liam (my little brother) turned two today, and we had a Dr. Seuss themed party.  I was Teen 1 and my sister was Teen 2.  I thought that was extremely clever.  They seriously went all out.  It looked like a Dr. Seuss himself threw up all over the house.  Only, it was in the cute well-decorated way, not in the stomach-acidy way.  That would be so gross!  Blech!

So, what are my favorite things in my room?  Well, I'll give you the top five:

5. My fan - I'm freaked out by the dark (I know, it's irrational) and if I didn't have my fan on to drown out all other noise and create one not-so-very-threatening white noise I'd be dead of fright already!

4. My wall of things - I keep everything.  Seriously, I'm kind of a hoarder.  So I kept all the notes that I passed, anything that I'd ever drawn, anything that anybody else had ever drawn and given to me, and so on.  So I put it all up on the wall next to my bed, and I love it and it looks great!

(The chocolate has begun to taunt me.)

3. My desk - I love my desk, honestly I do.  I organized not too long ago and made it b-e-a-u-tiful.  I like to sit and read at it when it's sunshiney outside because it's by the window so where I'm sitting is also sunshiney.  Also, I talk to my beta fish, Napoleon.  (I digitally incarnated him at the bottom of this blog if you want to show him and his Generals some digital love.  Don't worry about the green fish flakes, they're organic.)

2. My bed - Of course, how could I leave this out?  I spend as much of my time on my bed as possible, and as a result I got a pinched nerve this summer.  Also, I get a lot of little stitches in my side that make it hard to breathe deeply until I work them out.  You wouldn't believe the need to take in a huge breath while you have a stitch in your side, it's insane!

1. My finger painting - Okay, let me explain.  First, I didn't paint it.  Second, it's not what you think of when you see the words 'finger painting'.  It wasn't done by a child, but a Mexican!  It's a scene depicting the ocean with a moon hanging over it.  I really can't describe it well enough to do it justice, it's gorgeous.  And the man painted everything but the smallest of the details with his fingers, but you couldn't tell if you didn't know that.

And now, I can eat chocolate!  The inspiration is coming, I can feel it!  I will leave you with this quote:

She has a point there,

She's a Mmm Mmm Mmm Hmmm...

School, and homework, and letter writing!  I know how to write letters, for gods sake!  I know how to address letters, too!  I'm a big girl, I can do it all. by. my. self.  Also, I might actually build up some muscle this year in PE if it keeps going like this.  I just barely met the health standards for sit-ups and push ups.  Yaaay, I am average!  It's so good to hear again, I missed it.

I'm tired, but I want to read more.  I just felt really extremely terribly guilty about not posting for two days, so I had to remedy that.

I learned about cholesterol today, a fact that I am very proud of.  Cholesterol is a fat-like substance (NOT a fat).  And it's affected by what fats you eat, and there's good and bad cholesterol!  You want to eat unsaturated fats, cuz they bring in the good cholesterol.  Also, after infancy and childhood your body makes its own cholesterol!  Amazing, truly.

Cholesterol, because I wondered what it looked like.

!SPOILERS! Death Note !SPOILERS!

I just finished watching Death Note.  It's is truly one of the most tragic stories I've ever known.  And even though I don't want to give it away to you guys, I just must touch on some things there at the end.

I think one of the most touching parts of the story is that a Shinigami can only die if they kill someone so that the one they love doesn't die.  Misa unintentionally killed two Shinigami in her lifetime, and she would have probably killed more had the show not ended.  Light used Rem selfishly, and though Rem hated Light for what he was doing and how he might hurt Misa, he sacrificed his life to save Misa anyway.

Rem died because he killed L (or Ryuzaki) who was directly linked to Misa's lifespan.  And just that day Ryuzaki and Light had done...something.  I mean, that foot rub that L gave to Light had to be the most awkward scene in the whole series.  And where the heck did it come from?  So the foot rub just made me sadder that L died later that episode.

And I loved how it ended.  With Ryuk killing Light.  Just like he said he would.

Dirty Tough Doctor Has Mastered the Distance Formula

I had forgotten that in Geometry I had a worksheet AND some book work.  So I just spent like the last two hours working on distance formula problem after distance formula problem.  If you don't know what the distance formula is, let me enlighten you:

d = (X1 - X2) + (Y1 + Y2)

It's really like the simplest thing ever once you get on a run.  I ended up talking to myself, but it went by faster!  And that's all that matters.

I just used Britney Spears Deliciously Whipped Body Souflee, it smells great.  Plus it's a deliciously whipped body souflee.  It just sounds yummy :)

So you want to know what my totally awesome current event is?  Kim Kardashian got married yesterday!  I know, this is the second time I've mentioned Kim Kardashian on my blog.  I just added her last name to the dictionary, just in case I mention her a third time.

Is this not the ugliest dress ever?  I'm sure she didn't actually get married in this though, disappointing.

However, more exciting than Kim in an ugly wedding dress with a matching hat is that mosquitoes have a purpose in the world!  Yes, I was surprised, too.  In addition to being a snack to larger predators, they feed on bacteria and algae and end up removing them from rocks, plants, and water.  So there you have it, even the most pesky of creatures has a purpose!  I wish they didn't, though.  It seems instead of feeding on bacteria and algae they prefer feeding upon humans.  Yuck :P

Is that not the most disgusting thing you've ever seen?  It makes me not want to go outside ever again, and seal off all tiny holes into my room.

Have NO FEAR! Dirty Tough Doctor Will Save You!

Dirty Tough Doctor is my superhero name, I like it!  I just had to fix the title of this post, it would've been 'Dirty Touch Doctor'.  xD  Infinitely more funny, but not really a superhero name.  If anything it's a villain, and a really lame one at that.

Today I completed a life goal.  Yes I know, it's not every day that you complete a life goal.  I had been putting this particular one off, silly girl that I am.  Today I learned how to open a lock.  One of those hard clock ones.  I can do it perfectly now, every single time!  How great is that?

Also today I became thankful that I came to my senses in time.  I did NOT take German, thank whoever it is that might be holy.  It sounds like a bunch of unintelligible sounds, and it's clipped, and some of the words sound like you're swallowing them.  If I had taken German I would be asking myself one thing now:  Could I throw up the German words that I just swallowed?  They tasted funny.  Sure, English isn't exactly a Romance language, it's more of a business language.  But it sounds okay.  German...German is somethin' else, though.

Tonight I pumped out a whole 4,000 word chapter!  And THEN I got up to 550 on the next chapter!  Hooray!  My Hits and Views count is slowly climbing, and it should hit it's peak at around 11.  Hope I get more reviews :)

Back on the subject of languages.  Isn't this:

So pretty?  I think it's Arabic.  You would never guess that it's a suicide note unless you could read Arabic.  Or, if you did what I did, and searched 'suicide notes' on Bing Images.

Self Imposed Bedtimes Work if You Have Self Discipline

I have exactly six minutes to pump out this post before my self imposed bedtime...and GO!

So today I found out the quirky guys name, but I'm not gonna tell you cuz that would ruin the secret.  His half smile fell short at 6/10, very disappointing, but maybe it'll get better?  Don't have time to linger.

Adam Sandler explained that if we went into a specialty branch of doctory goodness we'd be in our mid-thirties when we finally completed our training, and we would hit the big money then.  The lowest amount you could make is $200K and the highest is one million a year.

Painted rocks over at Burton today, I made one that said 'I Collect Your Souls'.  And an elephant.  Then we ran to Dairy Queen, slapping each other's backs, got a dessert, and then ran back slapping each others backs.  The long bean that I pulled out of the tree had giant mating bugs on it.  I screamed.

A Pink Ponytail Hitting the Ceiling is Hysterical

I'm hysterical.  I am, and I can't stop laughing even writing.  Okay, I must have a minute to calm down.

Okay.  Now on to our regularly scheduled program.

Today was the first day of school.  It was also my first day of high school.  It was just another day for me.  It was quite disappointing in how mundane and unoriginal it was.  I feel like it went much too smoothly.

On the upside, however, I have some interesting teachers.  My Health and Med teacher looks like Adam Sandler, and since I cannot remember his name as of this moment, I will refer to him as such.  Mr. Sandler has the same name problem I'm having with him, only with 110 students.  I think he has it worse than I do.  Also, my Biology teacher is....the FOOTBALL COACH.  AND the WRESTLING COACH.  I would like my school life to be a little bit more stereotyped please?  Like the movies, and I wanna be that silent creative girl with the quirky half smile that the jock notices and falls in love with.  Only I don't want a jock, I want a silent creative boy with a quirky half smile on the other side that mine's on.  In this way when we half-smile to each other we will make a full, shining, and complete smile.

And I've totally found the perfect one, in my Foods and Nutrition class no less.  He is silent, has nice hands, and I'm betting that his half smile would be very adorable.  I'm guessing it'll be a...7.5/10.  I'll update you on progress, have no fear!

Also, I haven't written in two days.  I'm beginning to feel the effects of guilt...Katara and Zuko are growing further and further apart while I'm gone :(  Naw, I'm just kidding!  Here they are!

What a splendid picture!  Right in every way!

I Kissed an Aggresive Goose

What the title says is true, but it was more of a peck/bite thing from the goose.  I hope I didn't get anything o.O  That's ALL we need, another person in the hospital!

Anyways, I have begun writing the fourth chapter of my story.  And the going is slow, but I'm thinking this chapter will probably be the best so far because I'm painstakingly adding in detail to make the paragraphs longer because I don't like seeing one liner's when I downsize the font.  And when I say 'downsize the font' I mean taking it from 22 to 12.  Because I like to see what I'm writing and I like big letters.  Much easier to read that way.

I'm thinking of making a banner for my story, but is it too soon?  Either way I'm going to need pictures for it and have thus starting collecting really cool pictures.  However, today I was sent a picture of Mr. Holliday's legs.  And so I will grace you with it's presence.  Sorry I got you excited though, because this isn't my computer and I'm leaving to eat.  Bye!

Indian Temples are Fancier than American Churches

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand NOW for the: Current Event!

The Envy of U.S. Televangelists: In July, after India's Supreme Court ordered an inventory, a Hindu temple in Trivandrum was found to contain at least $22 billion worth of gold, diamonds and jeweled statues given as offerings to the deity by worshippers over several centuries. The wealth was until now believed to be the property of India's royal family, but the Supreme Court ruling turns it over to India's people. Authorities believe the "$22 billion" figure is conservative. [Christian Science Monitor, 7-5-2011]

So just one timple in Trivandrum contains $22 billion in riches, while all of our churches and cathedrals stained glass has been knocked out?  I kind of want to go there and see it all.  It must be beautiful, but you have to go see for yourself because there aren't any cameras allowed inside.  Here's the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple (a mouthful, I know.  Just sound it out!) rules:

Doesn't seem like much to ask.  Here's the outside of the temple:

And remember folks: Bring your jewels!

Greek Guys are As Friendly as Everybody Thinks

Jennifer and I just went to eat at a little Greek restaurant called the Coffee Oasis.  There is one Greek man decorated it, owns it, cooks, serves, and everything.  He's so very friendly, just like they always portray the Greek.  It makes me smile...

Because a simple ':)' doesn't cut it.

Eating Fries in a Hospital is Not the Best Idea

I'm sitting here in the hospital lounge.  I can smell the stinky soap on my hands even though they are inches away from my face, typing away.  To eat fries with this smell lingering on my hands it takes great care and careful timing.  You suck in a breath, stop breathing, place the fry in your mouth.  Next, you start chewing and you must place your hand on your lap.  Then you can start breathing again and actually tasting the fry.  In this way you do not have to smell the soap that disinfects you so that nobody dies.  Yippee!

I can't tell if the two ladies behind me know each other or not, or they've spent a lot of time talking to one another while whoever they know is in the hospital.  One lady is going to have her anniversary soon.  The other lady is complaining about some other man.  She's complaining about how he never shows up, and when he doesn't he calls her and asks her where he's supposed to be.  I wonder if it's the same lady who's having her anniversary soon, or the second one?  Hmmm...

In other news, MY EYES ARE GREEN!  Who knew?  It's the purple eye shadow that I really have to thank.

Being in hospitals reminds me of Jason's final days.  Even though he was dying of leukemia and quite underage he nailed himself a nurse as a girlfriend.  Isn't that illegal?  If I were there I would have made some sort of clever sign for the 'plan' for the day when Brittany (the nurse girlfriend) was there.  I'm sure it would have something clever, including fraternization.  Now there's a great word to use!

And I leave you with this little comic, they I had to read twice to get.  Maybe you'll get it faster.

Who Would You Kill?

As I was looking through my emails just now one of them said that they would kill for just one word from me.  And that gave me two questions to answer:

1. Who would they kill?
2. What should that one word be?

1. Personally, I would kill the next person that really made me want to rip my own eyeballs out of their sockets.
2.  Such a hard question to answer, I might spend time looking that up.

*Some hours later*

After spending some time watching Death Note and Wizards of Waverly Place I've come up with a list of words that I might email this person:

-Were
-Matsuda
-Hai
-Ryuzaki
-Lighto
-neck
-bender

I wish I could think of some better ones :P

Ah, shoot!  I swear to god I wrote this yesterday, but I'm just posting it today.

To make up for it, here's a pretty cool pic:

I think that pretty much explains everything.

Dreaming About Zuko is a Very Nice Distraction

Wow, I am such a failure.  Ok.  Glad I got that out.

The last 3 days I watched all of Avatar: The Last Airbender.  It's sooo wonderful! :)  Sad it's over now :(

Sooo, since I didn't plan this blog post at all and I want to sleep a slightly less failure (?) here's a picture of Zutara!

I love those two <3

Everything to Everyone Everywhere

Well, I guess I should start off by explaining the title of this blog.  Current events was something that we did in my global perspectives class.  It was a class that was required, and so I took that and government (also required) in summer school.  I wasn't really excited about either.  I mean, it was SUMMER SCHOOL for crying out loud.  But the global perspectives class turned out to be really awesome, only made awesome by the fact of the absolutely fab teacher.  This teacher wanted us to bring in current events everyday, but it was extra credit so it was optional.  By the end of summer school we all looked forward to the current events portion of the day.  Partly because they were these crazy people (i.e. a British guy shot his mole off with a shotgun, lost a finger) and partly because it always ended with the teacher ranting about whatever it was they did and calling them fools!

So though I will not post a current event everyday, I will about every week.  Because I miss current events.

I've had blogs before, and for about a week I would post everyday.  Then once a week.  Then once a month.  Eventually I wouldn't post at all.  But yesterday I started reading The Willy Wonka Experience.  Which is great, and so funny.  I can't help but use the word 'fab' because I read it all night last night and got no sleep whatsoever.  Anyway, this morning I decided to start my own blog.

AND I SHALL BLOG EVERY SINGLE DAY!  Except for when I don't.

If I were everything to everyone everywhere I would have a freaking PANIC ATTACK.  And my younger sister would come home with my neighbor and as me 'are yew habing anothew newbous bweakdown, mommy?'  And then they would growl/mew like a baby tiger.

While searching for this picture I found out that the top five trending image searches are:

1. Kim Kardashian Wedding Dress

2. Laila Ali

3. Pygmy Marmoset

4. Rod Blagojevich (who looks totally sexy there)

5. Iftar Meals

I kinda wondered what iftar meals were, so i Wikied it!  It's the evening meal the Muslims have right before sunset to break Ramadan.  Ta-da!  Wiki shall be my new friend. :)
